On the Lebanese Army Day, Dr. Hasan Tajideen congratulated Army Commander General Joseph Aoun and the army officers confirming that “August First is a symbol of sacrifice, loyalty, and honor. It is the day of the army which we cherish its precious sacrifices and persistence in the face of treason and aggression against homeland”. Dr. Tajideen saluted the army praising its heroism emphasizing that it represents national solidarity and preserves homeland and citizens’ security through its persistent willingness to deter aggressors through embracing people. Dr. Tajideen assured that the army remains a backbone in conserving Lebanon’s independence and people unity. “Thanks to the army, Lebanon will continue to be a final homeland for all its citizens”, he confirmed.
