The head of the Lebanese Economic Union Dr. Hassan Tajideen, honored Dr. Salah Maati the Director of Cultural Programs, in a ceremony held at the Union’s headquarters in recognition of his media and cultural role in the Arab world.
Dr. Tajideen presented him a certificate of appreciation which emphasizes the extent of cultural and media relations between Lebanon and Egypt, and stressed on the necessity of strengthening the relations between Lebanon and Egypt in various fields, especially economic and cultural interests of the two brotherly peoples.
Also, he added that “Maati” was among the Arab Egyptian media men who documented the cultural and media reality in the Arab world and in Egypt with presidents, leaders, writers and poets and he had a great cultural and media resonance.
Dr. Maati in his turn thanked the head of the Lebanese Economic Union for his honor, saying that he cherish this beautiful country Lebanon which holds with its wide heart the Arab concern and its surroundings, and through my participation in the Arab Economic Forum held in Beirut recently, I call upon all the Lebanese presence, media, cultural and economic, which plays a major role in the region and would bring about a “common Arab vision”.
