Dr. Hassan Tajideen Welcoming the Korean Battalion Commander, at Stars College School

Dr. Hassan Tajideen has welcomed the Colonel “Sok Moo Koo” the Korean Battalion Commander, accompanied by Korean officers, at Stars College School in Abesiyeh, in the presence of Mr. Ali Ezzeddine, Mayor of Abesiyeh, Mr. Hussein Saad, Mayor of Tirdiba, and many other educational and social figures.
Colonel Koo, together with the Korean officers, had a tour in the school, included checking the classrooms, the KG sections, and the laboratories.
Besides, Colonel Koo had a meeting with the creative students in mental arithmetic, who won the World Intellectual Championship in Malaysia. The Colonel was very impressed yet amazed by the student’s speed of mind and their superiority.
Colonel Koo thanked the school administration for their warm greetings, saying that: “I’m very happy with this gathering today, especially from the students and the educational staff”, noting the advanced level of education in the school, the educational program and the level of students, and asserting that a bright future is awaiting them.
Adding: “We are sure that this cooperation is going to be very important to us. Considering that these students are a fortune for Lebanon, and they are going to have a bright future, and I can tell from their today.
Moreover, Colonel Koo thanked Dr. Tajideen for giving him the opportunity to visit the school, promising to cooperate and establish educational and cultural exchange between Stars College School and the Korean Battalion, also wishing that peace and prosperity will prevail in Lebanon, and especially in the south region.

Tajideen:
In his turn, Dr. Hassan Tajideen welcomed the Colonel “Sok Moo Koo” the Korean Battalion Commander, accompanied by the Korean officers.
However, “Dr. Hassan Tajideen paid attribute to the role of the UNIFIL, especially the Korean Battalion, when it comes to the services, development and education, whether for local residents or for civil society, and its support for the Lebanese army within an atmosphere of peace and stability in the south.”
Furthermore, Dr. Tajideen said that we respect the important and the noble efforts of the Korean Battalion in spreading peace. Not to forget to mention the good relations between Korea and Lebanon, and the trust between the Battalion and the people in south, that’s why you became part of the Lebanese environment in some regions, and due to the several assistance in all levels. This is on the first hand.
On the second hand, Dr. Tajideen stressed on the cooperation between the Korean Battalion and our schools because of its cultural and educational importance between these two countries, hoping for mutual visits in order to promote this cooperation.
Finally, Dr. Tajideen ended by saying that we are always ready to welcome the Korean Battalion at our school.
The teachers prepared Lebanese food for the colonel and the Korean officers, who like the Lebanese cuisine and its food.
Colonel Koo awarded a certificate from Dr. Tajideen as an appreciation for their hard efforts, and a shield with the schools Logo on it. Also, the colonel in return presented a similar shield and provided stationary for the students.
