Dr. Hassan Tajeddine participated in a social and sports gathering hosted by the Korean Battalion serving within the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) at its headquarters in the Tyre area. The event was attended by a delegation representing the local and civil society of Tyre and its surroundings, including official, security, educational, sports, and media figures.

The delegation was received by the Commander of the Korean Battalion, Colonel Lee Ho-Joon, along with senior officers. The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation and solid relations between the Korean Battalion and the local communities within its area of operations.

The gathering included a friendly football match between the civil society team and the Korean Battalion team, with the participation of Lebanese international players, ending in a draw.

During the occasion, Dr. Hassan Tajeddine extended an invitation to the Battalion Commander to visit Stars College – Abbassiyeh, with the aim of enhancing friendship, cooperation, and cultural and educational exchange between students and members of the Korean Battalion.

The event concluded with the exchange of commemorative gifts, followed by a cocktail reception and a group photo.
