Dr. Hassan Tajeddine participated in the Christmas evening organized by the Parish of Saint Thomas the Apostle of the Greek Melkite Catholic Church at Saint Mar Thomas Cathedral in the city of Tyre, under the patronage of the Archbishop of Tyre and its districts, Metropolitan Georges Iskandar. The event was attended by parliamentary, municipal, military, religious, and social figures, as well as a large gathering of parish members and residents of Tyre.
The evening featured a Christmas recital performed by cantor and Mukhtar Tannous Abd, with the participation of the parish youth choir, accompanied on the organ by musician George Majdalani, along with professors from the National Conservatory, creating a spiritual and cultural atmosphere reflecting the true meaning of Christmas.
In his address, Metropolitan Iskandar emphasized the spiritual dimension of Christmas, highlighting the role of hymns and sincere prayer in nurturing hope and inner peace, and commended the efforts behind organizing this event that brings the community together around shared values of beauty and love.
The event concluded with attendees heading to the Port of Tyre to mark the closing of the Christmas Village Festival organized by the Municipality of Tyre.
