Dr. Hassan Tajeddine took part in a Christmas meeting with the Greek Melkite Catholic Archbishop of Tyre, Metropolitan Georges Iskandar, who received him at the Archdiocesan Residence in the presence of the parish administrator, Economos Bshara Ktoura, and members of the educational staff of Stars College. The meeting was held within the spirit of the Christmas season and aimed at reinforcing ongoing cooperation between the Archdiocese and educational institutions.
During the meeting, Metropolitan Iskandar praised Dr. Tajeddine’s role in supporting cooperation between the Church and educational institutions, expressing hope that the festive season would bring peace and goodwill to Lebanon, and emphasizing the importance of national unity in facing current challenges.
For his part, Dr. Hassan Tajeddine reaffirmed that the visit reflects the strong partnership with the Church, particularly on the occasion of Christmas, highlighting the fundamental role of education in building a responsible and aware generation that embodies coexistence and national unity. He also expressed his hope that the coming holidays would bring peace and stability to all Lebanese.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Hassan Tajeddine presented a contribution to the Archdiocese on the occasion of Christmas.
