At the invitation of the Ambassador of Ukraine in Lebanon, Dr. Hassan Tajideen attended the Mass for Peace in Ukraine, at the headquarters of the Maronite Patriarchate in Bkerke. The mass was attended by His Beatitude Maronite Patriarch Saint Peter Al-Rahi, in the presence of ambassadors and foreign diplomats from the United States, Colombia, the Netherlands, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Poland, the Philippines, Armenia and other countries, in addition to the Ukrainian-Lebanese diplomats, the Ukrainian community in Lebanon and the Ukrainian embassy staff in Lebanon.

The Ambassador of Ukraine in Lebanon Ihor Ostach stressed the high level of support and solidarity shown by the Lebanese people with the Ukrainians: “We remember how the Lebanese suffered from other wars, they understand the Ukrainians today. They surprised the whole world with their courage in defending freedom.”
