The head of the Lebanese Economic Union, Dr. Hassan Tajideen has saw that Martyr PM Rafic Hariri was the figure of the Lebanese coexistence within all its stripes and factions, and he was able to lift the country and put it on a par with the countries of the region in a short period of time.
Dr. Tajideen Said in a statement today: “Lebanon was in the early nineties in dire need of a strong man to get it out of its political and social, particularly its economic crisis, as it has witnessed demonstrations, high unemployment rate and a rise in the dollar, which has led to a paralysis of life aspects, and the presence of the president Hariri in the government has led to a rise in the Lebanese currency by 15 % in addition to his plan that focused on rebuild the country and the reconstruction of Beirut, and the growth rate rose to 8 percent, and the inflation level has fell. ”
Dr. Tajideen has pointed out that “the President martyr Rafic Hariri believed in reconstruction and rebuilding of the infrastructure, and this was enough to a rise in employment opportunities.” He believed that “a lot of Lebanese people do not know that the martyr was the first to introduce the Internet to the Arab world and laid to a monetary stability and lay the basic rules for this system in addition to signing the partnership agreement with the European Union, which hosted thousands of students from different sects for their studies in Lebanon or abroad.”
He concluded: “As economists, we have all the confidence in the president Saad Hariri that he would follow the steps of his father and complete his career with high level of responsibility.”
